It was a long, cold winter and we had the need to make a few upgrades to the current keg bike design. The old end grain wood tile with epoxy pour over bar top had a rough year of use (and who knew bare epoxy does not like UV light). After being inspired by some classic wood boat designs and their teak decking, we sought the advice of a local wood boat builder to help us with our next bar design. What resulted is this teak and holly wood inlaid bar top with a CNC routed mahogany backing. Top that with two layers of epoxy and four coats of the best marine varnish known to mankind and this is what you get. We can't wait to slide some beers across it!
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
